Pomegranates are widely cultivated throughout the Middle East, northern and tropical Africa, Iran, Armenia, the Indian subcontinent, Central Asia, the drier parts of Southeast Asia and the Mediterranean Basin.

Pomegranate has been used as a natural remedy for over 3,000 years but is only recently taking the beauty industry by storm. Why? Because it’s been proven that topical application of its extract offers profound skincare benefits, regardless of skin type, condition or age. This is thanks to its conjugated fatty acids and antioxidants, including catechism and flavonoids.

Pomegranates contain a staggering amount of Vitamin C; typically, one fruit contains 50% of your recommended daily intake. Countless studies have proven that continued use of Vitamin C will actively smooth the skin’s surface. It is also widely known that pomegranate oil can help improve skin conditions thanks to its healing properties. Finally, pomegranate also offers regenerative, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anti-ageing properties which promote bouncy, glowing skin. That’s a bucketload of benefits for one of the oldest fruits in the world!
